Design, development and marketing
We build websites, software and brands for South African businesses.
Design, build, host and support from one senior team in Johannesburg. Most agencies hand over at launch. We are the ones you still phone in year three.
We do the whole job
Your website, your online shop, your logo, the software behind the business and the hosting it all runs on. We do the lot ourselves, so when we tell you what you need, we are not pushing you towards the one thing we happen to sell.
Web design and development
Sites that load fast, come up on Google and actually bring in work.
WooCommerce
Online shops set up for how South Africans pay and get delivered to.
PrestaShop
We know it properly, because we run our own shop on it.
Shopify
Taken well past the template, so your shop does not look like everyone else’s.
Squarespace
Squarespace, pushed further than the theme lets you on your own.
Graphic design
Your logo and the look that goes with it, on everything you hand a customer.
UI and UX
We find where people give up on your site, and fix that part.
Custom software and APIs
Getting your systems to talk to each other, instead of you retyping between them.
Managed hosting
Servers here in South Africa, and the person who answers is the person who runs them.
Security and POPIA
Keeping your customers’ information safe, and staying on the right side of POPIA.
ICT procurement
Laptops, servers and network kit bought at cost, not marked up and resold to you.
All eleven services
Everything we do, and what each one starts at.
Why us and not someone else?
Seven answers. Most of them you can go and check for yourself before you even phone us.
Long enough to have watched platforms come and go, and to still be looking after work we shipped in year one.
Between them, our engineers go back to 1981, the year the IBM PC shipped. It shows up most in what we tell you not to build.
Almost nobody here puts rand figures on the page for this kind of work. The big firms say "reach out". Our rates are on the pricing page.
Core Platform keeps the live books of Randcore, of Omnitronix, and of a growing number of other South African businesses who now run on it every day. Real invoices, real salaries, real bank statements. Not a demo account, it is how we get paid.
Design, build, hosting and support are all ours. Nobody else to blame, and no handover where things get dropped.
The code, the accounts, the domain and the passwords are yours from day one. Ask us for the handover list before you sign anything.
If your current site is worth fixing rather than replacing, we will say so, even though the bigger job pays us more. We can afford to be straight with you, because our own software earns money from people who are not clients.
Four steps, no surprises
A phone call before a brief, a price before any work starts, and a link you can open from week one.
We also build our own
Core Platform
One South African system where your invoicing, books, stock and payroll all share the same set of numbers. We keep our own books on it, which is the only reason we would ask you to.
Common questions
Every job is quoted in writing before anyone starts, and the number does not move afterwards. What it costs depends on what it has to do, and we will tell you on the first call if your budget and the job do not match.
Yes. The code, the accounts and the passwords are yours. Nothing is held back and nothing stops you taking it elsewhere.
Usually. We look at it first and tell you honestly whether it is worth fixing or worth replacing. Sometimes the honest answer costs us the bigger job.
No. Most of our clients are small and medium South African businesses. We take on a few at a time so nobody sits in a queue.
Rosebank and Linden in Johannesburg. Same time zone as you, and you are welcome to come and sit with us.
Twenty minutes, a straight answer on whether we are the right fit, and a price in writing before anyone starts.
