What it does
Quote a customer without walking to the shelf. The item leaves stock in the same moment the sale is raised, so the figure on screen doesn’t wait for a stocktake to catch up.
Know the margin on a job rather than estimating it. A stock movement posts to the ledger as it happens, so gross margin comes off the books.
Chase a variance instead of arguing about it. Every receipt, sale and adjustment is a movement against the product record, so there’s a trail to walk back.
Ship without re-typing anything. Orders sit next to the products they draw down, so the sale, the stock and the invoice are one record rather than three.
One ledger
A stock system and a set of books kept apart agree only for as long as somebody keeps typing into both of them. Core removes the typing.

What it costs
No per-seat charge and no invoice limit on any tier. A bundle always costs less than buying the same modules separately.
Core WMS is included in the Operations and Full suite plans.
The current price of each is in the pricing section on the Core Platform page, along with what every plan carries. If you want a straight answer on which one fits, ask us and we’ll tell you.
Moving over
Most businesses this size run stock in a spreadsheet next to an accounting package, which works right up to the point the two stop agreeing. On Sage, inventory sits on the Standard tier rather than the entry one, so a small business often postpones it and keeps the spreadsheet. In Core, the stock and the books are the same system, so there’s no reconciliation between them to do. Import your product list and opening quantities, then count against Core before you rely on it.
We went through the alternatives properly, feature by feature, including where each still beats us: Core against Sage and Core against Zoho Books.
Questions
Yes. The item leaves the shelf in the same movement that raises the sale, rather than at the next stocktake.
Straight to the ledger in Core Accounting as the movement happens, so gross margin comes off the books rather than off an estimate.
Yes, from a CSV. Load your products and opening quantities, then count against Core before you switch off what you have today.
Stock movements post to a ledger either way. Core Accounting is where you read the result, so most businesses running stock switch both on together.
Open an account, load a month of real data and run Core WMS against what you do now. No card, and nothing to cancel.
