Software that’s on your side.
Why we exist, where we’re going, and how we’ll know we got there. Written down so you can hold us to it.
Build good software. Don’t be evil.
We make the software South African businesses run on, and we make it the way we’d want it made for us. Clear, fair, and never in your way.
A world where software never works against the person using it.
It starts small: one business in Linden that stops dreading its invoicing. Then a thousand. Then the tools we made for them become the way other people expect software to behave: honest about price, easy to leave, readable by a grandmother and a screen reader alike.
We won’t get there alone, and we won’t get there this year. But every screen we ship either moves the world a little towards it or a little away. We only ship the first kind.
Five things we won’t trade.
Values are only real when they cost something. Each one below has cost us a deal, a feature or a shortcut. Good.
Numbers we publish, whether they flatter us or not.
Updated every quarter on this page. If one goes the wrong way, we say so and what we’re doing about it.
Read the last updateSmall on purpose.
A handful of people who build the software, answer the phone and write these pages. No sales floor, no offshore support desk. If you email us, one of us reads it. We’d rather grow slowly than stop being the kind of company we set out to be.
